Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 2 medium bananas

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk or any milk

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • ¼ cup of honey

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)

  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil or vegetable oil

  • ½ cup of chocolate chunks or chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 356°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking tray with a piece of butter.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the rolled oats, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Add the unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice), mix again, and set aside for 5 minutes.

  4. Mash 2 bananas with a fork or blender, then add them to the oats along with sunflower oil (or vegetable oil), honey, and the chocolate chunks or chips (leave a small amount aside to sprinkle on top of the brownies). Mix everything well.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tray, sprinkle the remaining chocolate on top, and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool completely or for at least 30 minutes before serving.
