Ingredients:

  • 2 instant coffee sachets (or black coffee or cappuccino)

  • 250 ml hot water

  • 600ml whipping cream

  • 4 tbsp icing sugar

  • 3 tbsp dark cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 50 unsalted butter

  • 100g milk or dark chocolate

  • 12 Sponge fingers

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add the coffee and hot water, mix, and set aside (the coffee already has sugar in it, but add more if you like it sweeter).

  2. In a separate bowl, add the whipping cream, icing sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder, then use an electric mixer to whip up the cream.

  3. In a saucepan, add the butter and dark or milk chocolate, allow them to melt together, and set aside.

  4. Dip the sponge fingers in the coffee, then place them on a tray, arranging them closely together. Add the whipped cream and the chocolate sauce on top.

  5. Place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
